Year 6 and Year 2

Year 1

In June, the Year 1 children are tested to find out how well they can read words using their phonics skills. Here is some information about this check. 

Year 4

While in Year 4, the children are tested to find out how well they remember the times tables. This is very important because, knowing times tables very well helps with all other maths learning. Without this knowledge, the rest of their maths learning will be slower. The document below gives more information about the check.
