Google Classroom is now our online learning platform.  We encourage the children to complete their homework as independently as possible as work set consolidate their learning activities during the week.

Reading Books

Children in Year 1 Yellow will read to an adult in school at least once a week therefore, it is useful for your child to bring their reading book and reading record into school every day please.

Reading books will be changed on a Tuesday and Friday and just like in Reception we 'strive for five' signatures each week.  If there are not enough signatures then your child will be asked to keep their book to read and understand it better.

Don't forget to share different types of books at home too - fairytales, comics, books in your home language or fact books. It all counts!
