Homework

Homework

Homework will set each Friday and will be expected to be completed by the following Wednesday. In addition to their daily reading, Maths, Spellings and an English task will be set.

The children will have their own homework exercise book and pack to keep all work sheets safe and tidy.

We ask for the children to complete their homework independently as work set will usually consolidate their learning during the week. If you have any questions regarding homework please do not hesitate to ask.

It is also important that children practise their mental arithmetic at least 5 times a week. Head to TT Rockstars and see if you can become a Rock Legend!

Additionally, to support Reading, head to Reading Express. Children can complete a lesson online instead of reading to a parent (please note in their reading record that a lesson has been completed)

Children should be aiming to reach level 100 at the start of year 5 and 150 at the end.
