This is where your journey at our school begins. We are looking forward to welcoming you to our Irk Valley family.

Nursery Timetable:

Our school day, in Nursery, starts at 8.45am and finishes at 11.45am.

The children will have three carpet sessions a day, including Literacy, Phonics and snack time. The children will have time to explore the continuous provision inside and outside to enhance their learning through play.  Please see the timetable below.

• PE: Our PE day is Tuesday. Please ensure your child comes to school wearing the correct PE kit. For full kit details, please click here.
• Class Dojo: Stay connected with our class through ClassDojo, where we share weekly learning and important updates. Invitation codes are provided at the beginning of the school year. Please let us know if you need another copy.
• Phonics: In Nursery we teach Level 1 Phonics to the children.  This level focuses on developing children’s speaking, listening and awareness of sound.
