Safeguarding in the Curriculum
We have a Pupil Safety Team who meet regularly to help children learn to keep themselves safe.
They work out how best to raise awareness about safety, such as:
- planning Safer Internet Day
- booking a theatre company for Anti-Bullying Day
- helping check procedures are followed in a fire drill
- giving information to parents about medicines and drugs in the house
We teach children how to keep themselves safe through out curriculum in many ways. Here are some highlighted examples for each year group.
