What are we learning about?

This term, Year 1 will widen their geographical understanding this term by investigating the four countries of the United Kingdom. Pupils will learn to name, locate, and identify characteristics of the United Kingdom's four countries and capital cities, as well as its surrounding seas. Pupils will broaden their understanding by investigating geographical similarities and differences through the study of human and physical features. They will take a deeper look into the city of London, where they will have the opportunity to apply their knowledge and showcase their understanding.
