Class Information:

• Reading: Please ensure your child brings their reading book and reading record to school daily, reads at home each evening, and asks an adult to sign their reading record. Remember, we're aiming for 5 signatures each week!  Children read regularly with staff, and books are changed once they are read confidently and understood. Reading record comments will focus on fluency or comprehension, and achievements are celebrated through certificates, stamps and rewards.​​​​​​​
• Spellings: Spelling tests are held every Monday. We celebrate success and progress on ClassDojo, recognising both achievement and effort.

• Homework: Set every Friday and should be returned by the following Wednesday. Children are encouraged to complete tasks independently, although support and discussion with an adult may be helpful.

• PE: Our PE days are Monday and Friday. Please ensure your child comes to school wearing the correct PE kit. For full kit details, please click here.
• Class Dojo: Stay connected with our class through ClassDojo, where we share weekly learning and important updates. Invitation codes are provided at the beginning of the school year. Please let us know if you need another copy.
