What has the School Council achieved so far?

In Autumn Term:

• we raised money for Children in Need. We raised a whopping £957.34! We sold 360 Children in Need items. This includes headbands, Pudsey bears, wristbands, pin badges and pens. We also organised a non-uniform day. Everyone had lots of fun. The money raised will support children living in the UK. 

• We decided school council jobs such as chair, clerk, marketing team and communications!

In 2024, we have raised money for our school sensory room. We had a 'Break the Rules' Day. On the day, children could bring juice and snacks, sit wherever they wanted in the classroom, wear their own clothes (not uniform), call teachers by their first name, could wear makeup and jewellery. Children paid £2.00 to break the rules! Our sensory room is really useful and quiet for many of our children. 

What is on the School Council Action Plan?

In Summer Term we will: 

• help plan our school transition days
• fundraise for our school by having a raffle and school discos
