Our Impact

The marketing sub team in the school council update our impact page.

What has the School Council achieved so far?

In Autumn Term we:

  • decided how we could best raise money for Children in Need. We decided to do a non-uniform day and to sell Children in Need items, like headbands. In the end, we raise £500.
  • did a survey to find out if children eat the breakfast bagels. We provide toasted bagels for children to eat in the mornings. We found out exactly how many children were eating the bagels and so we were able to make the right number of bagels and cut down on feed waste.
  • ordered wet playtime equipment. Children in class were telling us that they were bored with the equipment we had for wet play. We surveyed children, worked out how much money we had, ordered equipment and gave it out to the classes.

In Sprint Term we:

  • looked through the pupil surveys and the suggestion box. Pupils have been giving us ideas about how to make the school even better. At the moment, we are looking through the suggestions to find out which ones might be possible. We are going to create an action plan and feed back to the children in our classes at the end of this term.
