Homework is handed out on a Friday and is requested back into school the following Wednesday.

Homework will rarely be anything new to the children and instead be a recap on the learning in school that week. Homework in printed and stuck into the yellow homework books. Every week the children will have a print out of the reading we will be looking at in lessons the following week. Encourage the children to read this several times as it will increase their confidence in lessons.

Please send your child in with their reading book every day. They will be listened to by either the teacher or the T.A every week and their book changed once they have read it confidently and they understand it. Please ensure the books are signed by an adult at home at least once a week.
