Discussion example This is demonstrates what a good quality discussion looks like. Children across the school watch this to come up with their own discussion guidelines

English Oracy Project

In year 2 we have been using our speaking and listening skills in our very own oracy project. The end result was a Public Service Announcement(PSA) to inform everyone about bees!

Culture Discussion

Oracy learning can be set for homework so children can continue using and applying the skills they learn in school. This is an example of Miss Thomas (oracy lead) and some children in year 2 using their oracy skills to talk about their cultures.
