Working At Expected Standard Example Texts

If your child is working at the expected standard for Reading in Year 2 we'd expect them to be able to read the following books fluently:

90 Words A Minute: Our reading statements mention the children aiming to be able to read 90 words a minute, below is an example document to use at home to continue practicing and improving reading fluency.

Simply set a 1 minute timer and read as much of the text as they can in the given time.
