Welcome to 4B
We are looking forward to sharing a fantastic year of learning, creativity and growth together, and we are excited to have you as part of our class family.
Meet the Teachers:
Hi, my name is Mrs Bradshaw.
I’m delighted to introduce myself as your child’s new teacher. I have worked at Irk Valley since 2011. As most of you will be aware I have taught a variety of classes throughout the years.
Outside of school, I love spending time with my family. I have five children of my own so as you can imagine weekends are busy! I love to read and listen to podcasts. When I get a chance, I also like to watch cookery programs. I love to cook and often as a family we all cook together. Especially Sundays as I have all my family at my house for a roast dinner.
I’m very much looking forward to getting to know you and your children over the coming year. Together, we’ll make it a happy, successful and memorable experience for everyone.

Class Information:
- Reading: Please bring reading books and reading records to school every day. Children read regularly with staff, and books are changed once they are read confidently and understood. Reading records should be signed by an adult at least once a week. We celebrate reading success through certificates and stamps.
- Homework: Set every Friday and should be returned by the following Thursday. Children are encouraged to complete tasks independently, although support and discussion with an adult may be helpful. We also give out a project homework every half term that can be worked on over a few weeks.
