Summer Holiday Club at MCA
MCA will be running a holiday programme once again during the School Summer Holidays. The Holiday Club will run from 9:30 - 3pm each day for 4 weeks on the following dates:
- Week 1: Monday 4th to Thursday 7th August 2025
- Week 2: Monday 11th to Thursday 14th August 2025
- Week 3: Monday 18th to Thursday 21st August 2025
- Week 4: Tuesday 26th to Friday 29th August 2025
The programme is for those children currently in years 3 to 9 (Aged 7-14) with a free breakfast and lunch provided each day. Activities will include arts & crafts, cooking, dance, drama, indoor sports, outdoor sports and education activities.
The programme is once again funded through the Government HAF scheme with priority places given to those children in receipt of Free School Meals (FSM).
- If your child is eligible for FSM then don't delay and sign your child up to the programme today. The registration process is through the MCRactive portal and can be accessed by clicking Register Here.
- If your child is not eligible for FSM then further details of how to register your child will follow in the forthcoming weeks.

Local Parks
There are thousands of FREE places for children's activities over the school holidays. PLUS each booked session will include a FREE, healthy meal.
The free activities/meals are for children aged 5 – 16 years who receive benefits-related free school meals.
It’s as easy as 1, 2, 3 to get involved. Parents should:
- Register for FREE benefits-related school meals
- Create a family 'MCRactive Go' account
- Find and book sessions on the Activity Finder.
