All about your teachers.

Hi, my name is Mrs Jadhav. I will be teaching 4JS on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

I love teaching. It has always been my dream job and I have taught in Manchester for more than 12 years (11 at Irk Valley). I have MA in Teaching English to Speakers of other Languages.

In me free time, I enjoy being a mum, going swimming, exercising as well as reading. I’m bilingual; I speak English and Polish.

I love learning and believe it is really important for us to be curious about the world we live in. I want to help make sure every child is able to learn their very best so I will help teach you skills so that you know how we learn best.

Hi, my name is Mrs Bradshaw. I will be teaching 4JB on Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays.

I’m delighted to introduce myself as your child’s new teacher. I have worked at Irk Valley since 2011. As most of you will be aware I have taught a variety of classes throughout the years and I have taught this class before.

Outside of school, I love spending time with my family. I have five children of my own so as you can imagine weekends are busy! I love to read and listen to podcasts. When I get a chance, I also like to watch cookery programs. I love to cook and often as a family we all cook together. Especially Sundays as I have all my family at my house for a roast dinner.

I’m very much looking forward to getting to know you and your children over the coming year. Together, we’ll make it a happy, successful and memorable experience for everyone.

Our assistant teachers in 4JB are Miss Shazia who works with us in the afternoon and Ms Majid who works Monday-Thursday in the afternoon.

What to Expect in 4JB

We have lots of exciting topics to learn about this year, including The Romans, The Amaozn Rainforest and The Ancient Egyptians.

You will also be learning to swim in year 4 - how  exciting!

In 4JB, we get started very quickly with learning after the register, so it’s very important to be on time. We are learning by 8:55am.

Homework will be given out on Fridays every week which needs to be in by the following Wednesday.

We also give out a project homework every half term that can be worked on over a few weeks.

Class Timetable.
