Our Class Notice Board

The first day of Spring is here! frownLet's hope the weather changes to!sad

It's nearly half term and lots of things are about to happen after the holidays so let us all have a good rest, lots of fun and most of all, lots of  yummy Easter eggs!

Year 2C all want to wish Mr Mark Houghton, our caretaker, a safe bicycle journey from Lands End (Cornwall) to John O' Groats (Scotland). He will be riding a total of 960 miles! He is doing this to try  raise money for Foundation to buy much needed bikes, as ours are  becoming to old to play with. Let's all support Mr Houghton and his good cause for our younger pupils at Irk Valley.... I know Mrs Cross and I will be. GOOD LUCK MARK!

If you would like to sponsor Mark for his journey, you can do this either by going on or by sponsoring him and then putting the money in an envelope with Mark's name on and putting it into the drop box at the office.

A BIG thank you,to all our parents for all your support with the pupil's homework, reading and bringing in their  P.E kits.

Parents please can we ask that the children bring in long, black track suit bottoms  and a long, sleeved tops for  P.E. Now that the cold weather as arrived they all  will need to keep warm while taking part in outdoor P.E lessons.
