Our learning this week (29th March - 1st April):

English - We learnt about plurals and recapped what a verb is.

Maths - We practiced adding and subtracting.

Art - We completed our happy place boxes by adding different materials for different effects.

PSHE - We talked about people we can trust and strangers who may be able to help in an emergency.

RE - We discussed different ways people celebrate Easter then learnt about why Christians celebrate it.

Phonics - Some of us carried on with phase 4 and practiced reading and writing words with 4 sounds (e.g. toast, champ). The the rest of us recapped learning about split-digraph phonemes in phase 5 (e.g. a-e in the word 'skate', e-e in the word 'delete', i-e in the word 'spike' and o-e in the word 'rose').

Geography - We recapped all that we have learnt; the countries of the United Kingdom, their flags, the seas surrounding us and physical/human features.
