What Happens When Children are Learning at Home When the Whole Class/ School is at Home?

We want to ensure that, when children are not in school, they will carry on making progress and, as much as possible, be ready for their return to school setting. Under the current circumstances, the best way we can ensure this happens when the children are not in school, is by having:

  • Good quality learning tasks
  • Some teaching and guidance to help them acquire new knowledge and skills
  • Helpful feedback
  • Ideas if they want to learn more

This page sets out the ways in which we will be providing learning continuity for whole bubbles of children who are at home due to coronavirus. It takes into account the needs of the children, balanced with realistic expectations for parental support.
