What should you do when you are isolating at home but the rest of your class are in school?
When you are isolating because you or a family member have tested positive, or when you have been in contact with someone who has, it means that you will be independently learning at home.
This means that you will be able to carry on learning things that your class are learning, but in a slightly different way.
You will need to go onto your class page and click the 'Learning at Home' icon - it is a picture of a bee. On here, you will see links to the lessons you need to complete. Click on the links and go through each lesson. If you would like to, you can make notes on a piece of paper to help you as you learn.
What equipment/ information do you need?
So that you can keep learning at home, you will need a device (a laptop or desktop computer, a tablet or a Google Chromebook) that can the school website. If you don't have a device that you can use, the school will be able to lend you a Google Chromebook to use at home for the time when you are isolating.
You will also need an internet connection at home. If you don't have an internet connection, the school will give you a work pack. If you need a work pack, please contact the school office and we will make sure you get a one so you can continue to learn at home.
