Wednesday
A fun activity where you can meet other parents and community members and learn new sewing skills. Here you can make your own cushions, clothing, and have a chat!
Thursday
We host a coffee morning every Thursday from 9:00 – 10:00 am in the Hub. It is a fantastic opportunity to have a hot or cold drink and a chat with other parents and local residents. Each week there will be a member of our SLT at the coffee morning.
If you have little children, please bring them with you – there are many toys and books to entertain them.
Families Connect focuses on supporting parents and children to learn together. It helps parents to support their children’s learning in three key areas:
- Literacy and language development
- Numeracy
- Emotional development
The eight-week programme provides a series of activities, techniques and games that parents and carers can do with their children at home.
