The knowledge that working with others, asking for help when needed and supporting others to develop are the foundations of growth.

Summer Reading Challenge

One excellent way your children keep learning this summer is by taking part in The Summer Reading Challenge!

Instead of joining the challenge in the library, they can join from the comfort of their own home and read whatever books they fancy. Join them up using the 'Summer Reading Challenge' link below to set up their own personal profile area where they can set reading goals, review books and see book recommendations.

They can also enter competitions to practise their reading and writing, get creative and win lovely prizes from their favourite authors! They can chat to friends on the forum, play games, download activities and get involved in family activities with rewards and unlockable content that will keep them busy throughout the summer. All for free! You can also read and listen to books online for free.

Download the eAudiobooks for free from BorrowBox (see the link below) with their library card! If they don't have a Manchester Libraries card, all you need to do is register them using the Manchester Libraries link below and use the temporary library number you are given.

The more the children read, the more prepared they will be for school in the new academic year.
