Homework and How You Can Help

Quick tips on how you can help at home...

- Read your child a story every day

- Count with your child whenever you can!

- Talk to your child about what they have been learning at school

- Look at books, talk about what they can see in the pictures

- Practice holding the pencil the correct way

- Draw some pictures together!

- Sing nursery rhymes and number songs together

- Take your child to the park!

All of these are simple ways of encouraging children to have fun whilst learning and is a great way to enhance what we are doing at school at home too !

In Spring 1, your children will start bringing home 'Home Learning Cards' which give you some other ideas and activities to do with your child at home. These will be renewed each week once they are brought back to school.
