Maths and English weekly homework will be given out on Fridays and is expected to be returned to school on the following Wednesday.

Project homework which is linked to our topic will be given out at the beginning of each half term. Your child will have the whole half term to complete this homework and it should be handed in before the next holiday. We will give you more information when each project homework is handed out.

Your child will also be expected to learn Maths facts (such as times tables) and spellings every week for a small test. Learning these will help to improve your child’s memory and will support their progress in class.

Please ensure that your child reads for at least 10 minutes a day, and where possible, is listened to by an adult. Your child should have their reading record signed by an adult at least one per week.
