The importance of joy in what we do, discovering our strengths and using them.

In Year 1 we still continue to use our interactive handwriting resource Letter-join, which can be accessed at home to build on what the pupils have learnt in Reception.

In school during provision sessions we will introduce patterns which represent and encourage hand movements in the direction of our letter are formed along with becoming familiar with our letter families; curly caterpillar, long ladder, one-armed robot and zig-zag monster letters.

Within the pencil links below you will find resources, please feel free to use these at home as appropriate for extra practice.
