Anti- Bullying Week Starts Monday 15th November
The Pupil Safety Team have been helping to decide what happens during Anti-Bullying Week and they have come up with some great ideas.
The theme of anti-bullying week is “One Kind Word”.
During the week, every class from Years 1-6 will have an anti-bullying drama workshop in the hall provided by “One Day Creative Workshops”.
There will be lots of learning and fun going on during the week and we hope by the end of the week, all children will know:
- How to recognise all kinds of bullying
- That they need to tell someone if they are being bullied
- Identify adults in school that they feel they could talk to if they were worried about bullying
- How kindness can make everyone happier
On Monday 15th November, we encourage all children (and staff) to come into school in bright odd socks to mark the start of the week.
Children in Need Day (Friday 19th November)
The School Council have decided how we should raise money for Children in Need this year and they are going to help!
From Monday 15th November the children will be selling pom-pom key rings for £1:00 and Pudsey ears for £2.50. Children can bring money in to buy these.
On Friday 19th November, we are having a non-uniform day where children can wear whatever they would like and bring in £1.00 for Children In Need.
Look out on Class Dojo and in the newsletter for more information about what we learnt and how much money was raised.
