Week 3
The weather is turning into the Manchester weather we are well known for.... wet!
Please can you make sure the children have a waterproof coat on for school as we do go outside even when it's raining. The rain won't stop us from playing out or doing our outdoor sports with Coach Mark.
The children will be bringing home school letters for after school clubs for our bubble. If you want your child to attend please sign and send it back to school with the children.
Finally, please could all parents keep the main front doors clear while waiting to collecting the children from School. This is so we can keep the children safe while they are entering and exiting the building safely.
In these current situation the children, I and Miss Connor are working together to get the from the classroom to the office so there could be a slight delay waiting for the children, please bare with us while you get your child to exit the school safely.
A massive thank from both Mrs Cross and myself Mrs Malone for your continual support thought these uncertain times.
Week 1:
Hello Parents/ Carers. Welcome back we hope you've all had a lovely summer and are ready for another year at Irk Valley.
This week we have loved getting to know the children and getting them use to our new school day routines along with rebuilding their friendships with each other after such a long time apart. However, there are a few things we'd like to share...
- PE is on Monday and Thursday's. The children can come to school dressed in their kits on these days.
- Reading Books will only be changed on a Tuesday and a Friday. Although these will not be sent home until next week.
Homework will be set on Google on classroom every Thursday.
Login details can be found in the children's purple reading records, please let us know if you are having any issues accessing Google Classroom.
Children will get new reading books on Tuesday's and a Friday's. Please remember that books will need to be quarantined for two days before handed out again to other children.
Important information
Children still need to read at home every day parents, at least two pages with an adult. Please can you sign the their reading record for us so we can see who has read at home and we can ask them questions about their books before changing them again.
