Welcome to Year 2C

We hope that you have had a lovely summer and that you and your family are well rested, ready to start the new school year. We would like to give you some information about 2C!

I am your teacher,  Mrs Cross. I I have worked at Irk Valley for 10 years and had taught both Year 1 and 2 during this time. My favourite lesson is English and I love joining in P.E. lessons too. I have a cat called Roxy and she is very good at cuddles. Ms Barr has worked at the school 11 years, she loves maths and reading. Her favourite colour is purple and she loves eating noodles. Ms Galbraith has worked at 8 years and she likes pasta, her favourite lessons are history and phonics.

We can't wait to teach you and be together again!

To start the school year off, we will be learning the following:

PE

Our PE days are Mondays and Thursdays and children can wear their P.E. kit into school on that day.

If you have any concerns or questions  for Mrs. Cross please send a direct message on Class Dojo or email the school and it will be passed on to us.

If you haven't yet joined our class, please click here.  Your child's code can be found inside the front cover of their purple reading record

We are looking forward to meeting you properly at parents’ evenings, school meetings and open days, but in the meantime, please let us know if you have any questions.

Yours faithfully,

Mrs Cross, Miss Galbraith and Mrs Barr
