In addition to the task above being assigned on Google Classroom, the children have been sent home with a booklet containing:

  • A reading comprehension
  • Maths calculations
  • A short Grammar task

Could these please be completed on the sheet and brought into school for marking on our return; Monday 22nd April.

As usual we have assigned weekly activities to consolidate learning on Mathletics and Reading Eggs for the children to complete.  Please continue reading and signing reading records at home, plenty of opportunities to earn bookworm challenge badges after two weeks holiday!

Spellings: Common Exception Words (Whole Class)

There are no weekly spellings to practice over the holidays but we would like you to continue practice reading and spelling the highlighted common exception words which you were sent home with on Thursday.  Attached below is a recording of the common exception words being read aloud to help, if needed.

TIB: By using our variety of strategies you will become confident and successful in reading them with speed and spelling them all correctly whilst writing independently.
