We are holding a careers day on Friday 24th May 2019.

The aim is for our children to learn about different types of jobs.  On the day they will meet local business men and woman and organisations to help raise awareness of the different types of jobs that are on offer.  This day will help them aspire to their own chosen career as they move through primary school and into secondary education.

On this day, children from across the school will be investigating jobs they could undertake in the future and they will speak to a variety of people from a range of careers.  So far we have Manchester University, Manchester Fort, a local barber, a car mechanic, cameraman, BBC floor manager, politicians, Manchester Youth Zone and many more lined up for children to meet and ask questions.   Also, we would like children to dress up in clothes that are used in a career they are interested in.

I am sure like us, you will agree that careers day will be a fantastic opportunity for children to think about their future and be inspired.

Parents – we need your help!
